But, afterall… what is an azulejo? Where did it come from, and why is it so central to Portuguese culture? On this Tour, we will get on a journey to explore this iconic art. We’ll stroll through streets adorned with stunning tile-covered façades and visit the National Tile Museum, home to a rich collection showcasing the evolution of azulejos over the centuries. The highlight of the tour? A hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own azulejo to take home as a unique souvenir of your trip!
